Renting Your Timeshare The Safe Way
Some timeshare owners rely on renting
their resale in order to pay their maintenance fees or make
a payment or two. The system they used relied mainly on trust between
the two parties. The owners trusted the renters to send them the money
and the renters trusted the owners to provide a hassle free, clean time
share to vacation in. Needless to say, this method caused it's fair
share of problems.
EZ Timeshare in conjunction with First American Title has created
a safe hassle free way for both owner and renter to participate in a
rental agreement.
The following bullet points describe the rental escrow service
provided by First American Title.
- First, owner and renter must agree on a rental price
and to both participate in the program provided by
First American Title.
- Second, the owner must complete the online Rental
Agreement and Escrow Instructions found here:
- Thirdly, First American Title will then email the
potential renters and have them visit their website
in order to preview the online form completed by the
owner. The renters must then complete their portion
of the online form.
- Next, First American Title will then contact each party to collect
a $50/non refundable fee for their service.
This fee is paid by both renter and owner. The renter is then required
to pay 50% of the rental rate previously
agreed upon by the owner and renter.
- 60 days prior to the vacation (or sooner depending on vacation date)
the renters will pay the remaining 50%
of the rental rate to First American Title.
- Approximately 2 weeks after the rental period has
expired First American Title will mail the owners
their payment so long as no complaints have been filed
by the renters regarding the timeshare.
