Why Can't I Sell My Time Share
Can't sell your time share. Do you have a time
share advertised on the Internet that will not sell?
If so, there are many reasons why time share does not
sell when advertised. Simply put, it could be one or
a combination of things that make selling a time share
difficult.
Here we will cover some of the top reasons a time share
resale will not sell when advertised online or anywhere
else for that matter of fact.
Reason Why Timeshare Won't Sell
Below are some of the reasons why timeshare will
not sell when advertised online. Please preview
these reasons and ask yourself quite frankly if you
are doing any of these things when you advertise your
timeshare resale. If so, please try to correct as many
of these problems and watch how fast your resale will
sell.
- Overpricing - Over priced time shares are
the most difficult things to sell in the world. People
pass right over a high priced resale. The point of
buying a resale is to get a deal, not to pay exactly
what they sell for at the resort.
- Website - Is the website you advertise on
found by people looking for timeshare. If people can't
find your advertisement it's worthless. We suggest
you type in a phrase like "buy time share"
or "rent time share" into your favorite
browser to see if the website you advertise on can
be found on the 1st or 2nd page of the results.
- Buried Advertisement - Is your advertisement
buried below hundreds of other ads for the same property.
If so, this can drastically affect your success rate
when trying to sell. If you can't find the ad, nobody
else can find it.
- Not Enough Information - When placing an
advertisement it is very important to include as much
information about your resale as possible. Make sure
to tell about any special views, attractions, events,
deals or other great things about your timeshare in
the comments section of the advertisement.
- Improper Information - Is your advertisement
correct? Week 42 is much different than week 22. Make
sure all the information found in your advertisement
is correct.
- Contact Method - Since this is a for sale
by owner advertising company we require our users
to provide an e-mail address for us to send their
offers. Make sure the address is correct and all associated
SPAM filters, bulk e-mail folders, and junk mail bins
are set up properly. Free email's like MSN, Yahoo,
GMail and the others all have spam filters in place.
Make sure you know how to work them and they are set
up properly.
- Use Color Pictures - Color pictures provide
potential buyers with a look at what they are about
to buy. These pictures should not be of you and your
family in the time share. Make sure to provide a shot
of the pool, the exterior and surroundings, and a
shot of a clean neat time share.
We feel that we have provided the basic stumbling blocks
for owners already advertising or trying to sell
timeshare on the Internet. If you are considering
selling your time share resale we hope this information
has been helpful. Try to avoid as many of these pitfalls
and it should be pretty easy to sell your time share.
